Open edition fine art print.
A depiction of the J16 matriline of endangered southern resident killer whales who went from being a close knit family of four to an even closer knit family of six within less than 4 months with the birth of J50 "Scarlett" and J52 "Sonic". Each of the whales are represented as close to their actual likeness as possible, including eyepatch, dorsal fin, saddle patch, and other distinguishing features. I use my extensive library of my own photos and firsthand knowledge as reference to create these images of the dearly beloved southern resident killer whales.
